Frank Cottrell-Boyce is a multi-award-winning children’s author based in Liverpool. His debut novel, Millions, won the CILIP Carnegie Medal, and he has written other acclaimed books such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Flies Again, Cosmic, and The Astounding Broccoli Boy. Beyond books, Frank has also contributed to programs like Doctor Who and co-wrote Queen Elizabeth II’s famous Platinum Jubilee sketch featuring Paddington Bear. His passion for reading and writing will undoubtedly inspire young readers during his tenure as Children’s Laureate.
