Our Multicultural Author Book Packs contain a selection of titles written by authors from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. Investing in a diverse library or classroom collection allows students to explore a range of unique experiences, identities and cultures.

This simple yet powerful tool provides children from all cultural backgrounds with the opportunity to better see themselves reflected in both the pages of a book and in the person who wrote it. Giving children access to stories written by multicultural authors also provides an opportunity to better understand people who are different from them, allowing them to become more compassionate and caring citizens. In turn, this contributes to breaking wider societal stereotypes and stigmas.
